Glitter Mother's Day Cards

It seems like most effective the day before today
I despatched a Mother’s Day card away.
I didn’t assume it'd be the final,
I signed it with love and mailed it rapid.
Now that she has gone away,
It doesn’t sense like Mother’s Day.
There aren't any extra chances to send a card,
To deliver a few florae, to make a name.
There’s no greater thanking her for all she’s executed.
No more visits,
No greater fun.
I cannot hug her or kiss her cheek.
I cannot even share a laugh.
It all too quick became the beyond.
I took every go to with her for granted.
I concept there’d constantly be extra to return.
The digicam lies nonetheless now
From her use and mine.
All the snapshots had been taken,
All the reminiscences were made.
All the words had been spoken,
All the letters were mailed.
The factor I miss the maximum of all
Has got to be her voice
Whether on the smartphone or talking head to head.
I’d want for one extra conversation either here or in her vicinity.
I know I’ll see her once more someday,
We’ll proportion the attractions of heaven.
We’ll talk, we’ll laugh, we’ll hug,
We’ll kiss….It’ll be Mother’s Day another time.
But until then I’ll be a mother for Mother’s Day instead of
Being a daughter.

A mother who constantly cares,
A mother who’s continually there.
A mother who constantly prays,
A mom who always stays.
When matters get difficult,
When existence gets difficult,
When all is just too much to bear,
God’s Word she shares.
God’s mild she shines.
So blessed God made this mother mine.
